Who are Storz and Bickel?
Bringing you elite German engineering, Storz and Bickel was founded in 1996 by Markus Storz. Markus obtained is patent for the Volcano Classic balloon finally in 1999 and production started. The Volcano Classic shortly became the “gold standard” of vaporisation, and quickly sparked scientific research in to the effectiveness of dry-herb vape, essentially kicking off a new era of smoke consumption.
A few years later in 2002, Jürgen Bickel joins as partner and STORZ & BICKEL GmbH & Co. KG is founded. Bickel and Storz made big movements and branched out in to the American Market, brining dry herb vaporisation to a brand new market. Storz and Bickel continued to develop their range of products, bringing us such delights as the Volcano Digit, the Volcano Medic, The Plenty, The Mighty and The Crafty and finally, the Mighty Medic.
